Paul C. Holmwood, MD
Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon
“People are most surprised to learn that before forming ECVA I had worked at SUNY Buffalo as head of the Glaucoma Service in the Department of Ophthalmology and later became the Residency Program Director. My job was to supervise and actively participate in the training and education of ophthalmology residents. I was responsible for re-establishing, for the first time in years, full accreditation for the Ophthalmology Residency Training Program as recognized by the American College of Graduate Medical Education, thus rescuing it from impending dissolution and extinction.”
Conditions I treat
Routine and complex cataracts, Laser Cataract Surgery, Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS), traditional glaucoma surgery and medical, specialty lens implants, corneal disorders requiring corneal transplant, DSEK, implant exchanges.
