Our Ophthalmologists

Our ophthalmologists are board-certified medical doctors. Each has completed college and at least eight years of additional medical training. Ophthalmologists specialize in eye and vision care and are licensed to practice medicine and surgery. In addition to diagnosing and treating all eye diseases, ophthalmologists perform eye surgery and prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses to correct vision problems.

Our Optometrists

An optometrist receives a doctor of optometry (OD) degree after completing four years of optometry school after graduating from college. Optometrists provide vision care including sight testing and correction and the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vision changes. They are licensed to practice optometry which involves performing eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, detecting eye abnormalities, and prescribing medications for some eye diseases.
